As the name suggests the current club was formed during 1967 to cater for those interested in the operations and vehicles of Crosville Motor Services Limited.
At the time the membership was primarily based in the area that Crosville operated in, however this has expanded over the years and we now have members from all over the United Kingdom.
We publish a monthly magazine, the REVIEW (which is sent to each member every month) covering the former Crosville Motor Services operating area and depots, and beyond.
News reports cover the vehicles and services of the operators that now cover the companies former area.
To accompany the news reports there are articles, written by the membership, often about their experiences and
memories of Crosville or related subjects in the Merseyside, North Wales and North West areas over the years.
Read about the events of 25 years ago in 'Reviews Revisited' or just keep track of the Crosville vehicles you remember.
We have a whole page on the site with more information about the club's magazine (the Crosville Enthusiasts Club Review) which includes
example articles from previous issues in PDF format, and also an entire example Review in Word format.
We also have an index of the articles that have appeared in the Review dating back to 1993, which can be found here.
Examples of articles in the present issue of the Review (issue 506) are:
The 525 by Gwyn Taylor and
Oswestry and the Midland Red Factor by Joe Meredith.
The Club operates up to seven tours/events every year taking in regular visits to former
Crosville depots and some further afield where there is an identified specific interest to the membership.
Details on the Tours page.
The Club has been fortunate enough to build a large archive collection over recent years for all members to share in.
Click on Archive to go to that page.
We have a number of items of general interest and of specific Crosville interest that are for sale through the Club.
These are usually surplus items that exist in the collection already and the proceeds are ploughed back
into the running of the archive and further acquisition of rare items. The Sales page has more details.
